How it works

A custom field, dropped right where you want it

This plugin adds a new element called Custom Field. It is similar to Avada's Button element in that it offers the same design options — but instead of a button, you choose the custom field to display. It shows the selected custom field's value at the element's position, and you can add as many as you like on a single page.

You can create a custom field using either the standard WordPress method or a plugin such as Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). Before the value, you can add text that acts as a label — for example a field name — and you can attach a link to internal or external pages.

If the built-in design options aren't enough, you can also style the field with CSS classes, just like most Avada Builder elements — right down to giving individual fields a completely unique look.

Everything the element adds

Note.  The element displays any text or number custom field, including those created by ACF. Advanced, non-text ACF formats may not render correctly.
Inside the builder

Configured visually — no code

Pick a field, add a label and link, then design it on the Design tab — all inside the element.

Quick start guide

From install to live in a few clicks

  1. Edit a page with the Avada Builder (Avada Live is not supported).
  2. Open the Elements menu and add the Custom Field element, like any other element.
  3. In the element options, choose the custom field you want to display.
  4. Optionally add text before the value (a label) and attach a link.
  5. Switch to the Design tab to style it, or add CSS classes for a unique look.
  6. Save the element, save the page — your field value appears in place.
Tip.  For a unique design on specific fields, assign your own classes to both the Custom Field Text and the Custom Field Key — the class names are listed right under those options.
